The Business Manager will lead the growth of a new business unit from product development through pilot and ultimately to rollout. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and overseeing the operations of the business unit;
  • Client management;
  • Developing deep product knowledge and documentation; and
  • Servicing end-users/clients during the Pilot program in the back half of 2008.
  • On rollout, the Business Manager will build a broader account and client support team and be responsible for the overall business unit.

Some of the Things You'll be Doing > > >

  • Managing tight timelines and client expectations to successfully launch Pilot project
  • Creating and managing sales support initiatives
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring key success metrics
  • Delivering a successful Pilot Program to ensure program rollout
  • Working with the client, senior Raybec management and line staff as well as with outside suppliers

The Most Important Things We're Looking For > > >

  • Demonstrated evidence of entrepreneurial ability and comfortable in entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to create a strategic plan and mobilize resources to execute the strategies/tactics
  • Be highly organized with a very high level of attention to detail
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and capabilities
  • Demonstrated client management experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Extremely focused on customer service
  • Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new programs (technology inclined)
  • Flexible with hours and willing to travel if required

  • Experience supporting professional services firms
  • Experience working with American clients
  • Knowledge of database and direct marketing
  • Experience delivering projects against tightly managed deadlines
  • Vendor management experience
