About You

You like building things, trying things out, constantly learning, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and make it happen. As a member of our team, you will be working on extending the user interface and user experience of our web applications and microsites. You will also create HTML email templates for use by our clients. You are comfortable making feature recommendations, are easy to get along with, creative and practical.

You have extensive HTML/CSS development experience in a production environment along with excellent Javascript & jQuery skills. Your main role will be creating the HTML and Javascript necessary to interface with our application.s back-end code. You will be working directly with our back-end developers to extend and implement the front end interface for any new functionality. Other responsibilities will be updating and modernizing current HTML/CSS & Javascript.

You will be given freedom to explore new methods, approaches and technologies. You are equally comfortable working closely with others or willing to do what it takes to get the job done yourself.

We are innovative and constantly creating new ways of doing business for the sales and marketing community.

We are a small but mighty team. Our lead product SalesLink (www.mysaleslink.com) is a web-based sales tool that makes it easy for sales reps and businesses to send highly targeted email follow-up that increases revenue. Unlike other email campaign management tools, SalesLink makes it very easy to send point-to-point HTML email in low volume. SalesLink is designed to make individual interactions more meaningful . it is NOT a mass-email engine. Users create their own content with our built-in content manager adding logos, banners, pictures, signatures, etc.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop: Development and enhancement of our web-based applications
  • Participate: Chart the course for future development, and roll up your sleeves to make it happen
  • Be proactive: Identify UI/UX optimization opportunities and implement solutions

Required skills:

  • 5+ years HTML/CSS design (sample required)
  • Expertise in cross-browser compatibility design
  • 3+ years Javascript/jQuery/AJAX design (please provide code sample / Github repo)
  • Adobe Creative Suite / Photoshop / image manipulation skills
  • Experience with User Interface layout and design
  • Experience with HTML email design and best practices

Desired skills:

  • Working with template driven frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems (Git a plus)
  • Using Javascript testing frameworks
  • Experience with CoffeeScript
  • Database (MySQL) experience
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.)
